Upgrading your child's room is a fun milestone for both you and your kiddo. When Influencer Gwen Klebba noticed it was time to upgrade her daughter's bedroom, we were excited to work with her as she browsed for furniture that would be the feature of her daughter's new big girl room. My daughter’s room was a little on the babyish side. The crib was gone but she never had “real” furniture. We gave her an old bed frame from the spare room, the neighbor gave us an old dresser, and I repainted an old bookcase, so her room was a hodge podge of random furniture. I really wanted to give her a big girl room. One with matching furniture that would last until she leaves for college.
I repainted the room to lighten up the walls and let the natural light shine in. I also added a fun accent wall with peel and stick wallpaper. But then came the hard part - I needed new furniture. I decided to check out American Furniture Warehouse because there’s a location near me. We’ve bought furniture from them before and have always been happy with the price, selection and availability.
I first looked online to get an idea of what I might find in the showroom. After arriving at the warehouse, I was promptly greeted by a nice sales rep who took me to the bedroom department. I mentioned a set I found online, called the The Bostwick. I was looking for an all-white set and this one had clean, simple lines which I think is a timeless look.
Of course, I had to take a walk around the showroom just to make sure this was the set I wanted. I’m always so surprised at their selection - there really is something for everyone! We ordered the queen size bed frame, night stands and dresser. The delivery was also quick - less than a week to receive the order!
I love how much brighter the room looks with this beautiful, white bedroom set. It brings on a mature feeling to my daughter’s room. The set is perfect to grow with my daughter. The best part - the bedroom set was an affordable option for us! We are so happy with her new bedroom!
