AJ’s motto is “No matter the budget, every woman deserves to live like a DIVA!” She currently resides in SoCal and is a space saving expert. She teamed up with AFW to show us her recent dining room design with one of our top selling dining room sets.
When it comes to designing and decorating the perfect dining room, there’s a few key things to keep in mind. For us it was super important for us to create a space in our home that’s warm, inviting, and full of lived-in charm. Who doesn’t love a dining room that’s full of ultra-cozy touches? First foremost you’re going to want to choose your larger pieces that set the tone for the room, like the table! We went with the AFW Ivie Bar Height Table with matching upholstered bar stools.
To anchor the room we had to choose the perfect area rug and boy did we! The Albin-Ecru/Pitch rug from AFW was key in making our otherwise big, empty space feel cozy and grounded. Honestly, they’re the saving grace of the open floor plan because they provide subtle boundaries without compromising the visual airspace.
Overall, the AFW Ivie Bar Height Table suits the overall style of our home and flows seamlessly into our living room. It also serves multiple function for both casual and formal dining. We absolutely love this table and cannot wait to entertain our friends and family!
