A Spring Refresh
I partnered with AFW to create this clean spring look just in time for the warmer temps!
The front door spring freshen up is done! I love creating inviting spaces with a modern farmhouse feel. I grew up on a farm as a kid feeding chickens and pigs so the farmhouse style always takes me back to my roots. For me farmhouse style is authentic, traditional, homemade and filled with aged rustic pieces that tell a story, like the cute vintage mailbox I used in this look.
Although I love the rustic and vintage pieces, I have been taking a more modern approach to my decorating lately because my better half loves a minimal modern space! I love how these metal candleholders match our other décor while adding a hint of modern design to our rustic space; they really help bring our two styles together! The way my whole family feels about our home is the utmost importance to me when creating spaces. I want all of us to dwell happily within these walls.
Spring is the perfect time to conquer clutter! If you want to keep a space organized and tidy, especially a bathroom, you’re going to need lots of baskets and shelves to keep all the little things in order! Bathrooms hold so many daily items that we truly need but it can become clutter very quickly if you don’t group like items together and purge items you no longer need. When I have clean organized spaces I can truly enjoy life more!
I worked on this spring refresh while it was in the mid 60s, and it was truly the perfect weather to add spring décor to my home! This project is really making me look forward to spending more time outdoors with my boys and soaking up all the Colorado sun!
