Went to store and purchased a zero gravity lift recliner the one on the floor did all as per the info on website. Got the delivery and guess what recliner is not zero gravity so I call sales person and he looks over the floor model to find it was mfg in 2022 and seems as if mfg has changed design of chair. Why would you have a recliner
From 2022 on your floor as a display not knowing it has been changed. Next bought an adjustable bed and have it all delivered and delivery drivers say beds all set up ready to go. Well onto try out bed and it’s not synced up as one. Spend the next 45 minutes reprogramming the bed. Overall this has been a very disappointing process knowing I was planning ahead for an upcoming surgery and needed these items to recover and instead now 48 hours prior to surgery I am scrambling to get things handled so I have the proper items ready for my after surgery recovery.

Attempted to file a warranty claim for a Sealy mattress that has sagging of 1-2 inches on both sides of the mattress. Claim was denied over a small "stain" that wasn't in the areas of the sagging and has no impact on the structural integrity of the mattress. If American Furniture won't stand behind their warranty, in this case 10 years, I would recommend everyone to shop elsewhere. I will not purchase any furniture, mattresses or other products from their stores.

Bought a table and showed up to pick it up. They said they didn’t have it and I waited to long to pick it up. Partially my fault but the staff there didn’t act like it was a big deal and didn’t offer any apology. No courtesy follow up call was made that we needed to pick up.

I would give zero stars if I could! They are price gouges who say they price match but when you come in another day to purchase your couch they raise the price $400 and can’t price match their own price…. AWFUL customer service! And not only that the quality is so poor… don’t ever buy here unless you wanna buy a couch next year cause it’s all falling apart!

I live in the South and have never ordered furniture online. So, my sister in Aurora, CO went to AFW and tested the quality and firmness of all the items I wanted. Love my new sofa, loveseat, chair and queen size mattress set. The firmness is wonderful and just what I needed. All items are firm, but the queen size mattress set is very firm.

Bad experience with in-store pickup. Warehouse crew will not allow customers to load their own purchases and will not load onto vehicle rooftops.
Paid for a futon and wanted to take it home immediately. It comes in a big rectangular flat cardboard box. Easy to transport, right?? Well, we weren't informed until we pulled up to the warehouse bay door that they "cannot allow" customers to use vehicle roof, no matter what (even if you have proper straps & want to do everything yourself & sign a waiver or whatever...)
Returned to sales desk for refund, will shop elsewhere. Waste of time.
Pickup rules should be clearly posted at pickup check-in desk and/or mentioned before, by sales staff, at time of payment (specifically told them we wanted to haul it away right now).

Spent about $2500 on a new couch and side tables. Specifically told sales person that I needed it by Friday 9/20/24. When they arrived the delivery was incomplete, and they CHARGED over $100 for the most n complete delivery. Obviously I returned it, they ruined my get party for the following Saturday bc they could not guarantee the delivery for next day. Obviously I returned it but learned a valuable ******** I would rather pay an extra $250 at another store instead of succumbing to such poor customer service. We went to the ****** location to purchase a new bedroom set for our furniture. Horrible experience. We bought a bedroom set on their grand opening and we were told we would receive it in July because it was back ordered, well its July now and we just got told we wont get receive it until October when just recently we were told by ****** that are order was complete and ready to be delivered. Horrible customer service no one knows what exactly is going on. They lie on dates. DO NOT BUY from them.

I purchased the bed frame 2 days ago in American furniture Warehouse in ****** I paid $89 extra to have the bed delivered and assembled the delivery guys came they said that they do not assemble those type of beds and they left we found somebody to assemble it for us and the screws didn't fit into the headboard and the so-called queen size bed frame didn't fit our queen size mattresses it was too small they lied to get us the purchase the bed so we had to take it back they have the worst service in the world their telephone service is not working properly because it keeps rerouting us and saying push one push to push three push for over and over and over again without allowing you to connect to talk with anyone the service is crappy the furniture is crappy

I purchased a couch and paid for delivery, but when the delivery team arrived, they claimed it wouldnt fit through my front door due to the space outside. They took a few quick measurements and didnt make any further attempts. After measuring myself, I believe the couch could have fit if they had tried from a different angle. *** asked them for clarification on which measurements were problematicthough they mentioned width, it seems they were actually concerned about depthbut they havent responded. As a result, I had to request a full refund because Im unsure how to proceed with my purchase. The customer service has been extremely disappointing, with no effort to resolve the issue, and now I have to wait three or more billing cycles to get my refund.

In 2019, purchased expensive bedroom furniture from American Furniture Warehouse. This month, the leather on the bed bench cracked. Contacted the consumer complaint section of ***, they refused my request to assist in the repairs and refused to connect me with the owner (**** *****, who is a veteran like myself). I spoke to ***** and **** of *** who were no help. I actually had to call ******** for good advice on possible repair options. *** personnel exercised poor customer service and I will not shop at *** again. Made the mistake of buying some couches here back in April. Its till today June ******* that we still cant receive our chair. If our sales person wouldve told us it would take longer than 4 months to receive we wouldve never bought it. I purchased a dining room set in 12/2/24 with a delivery set up for 12/20. We never were contacted about a delivery time so spent several hours trying to contact someone. We were then told a manager would call us. After several more hours, I went to the store. I was told it was a computer problem and they would refund my delivery fee. I was also told I couldnt get the table until January. Our salesperson set up a new delivery on 12/23 so I would have it for Christmas. On 12/23 I received a call from her, stating another salesperson allowed their customer to pick up our table. She told them it was sold and going to be delivered. A manager called with and all I got was Im sorry. Nothing else! This is unacceptable and so unprofessional. This is a terrible company. I wish I wouldve read the many negative reviews before I went to the store. I asked for a refund and will never go to this store again. They need a new manager and much better customer service. They are very rude.

Purchased a foam mattress May 2023 began to have trouble with the mattress its May 2025 .It was sagging down where I laid I went into American furniture in ******, ******** off of ******* was told I have a 10 year warranty on my foam mattress which we knew. I went ahead and purchased another mattress, I submitted the warranty right away and was told that my mattress was not covered because What was going on is a comfort issue, not a mattress issue or a sagging issue, which is not covered under the warranty I disagreed this is not acceptable, so I continued talking to multiple people they offered me 70% of what I paid on the mattress, but I was told because it was financed. I had to pay $191 that day or I couldnt get that deal completely ridiculous because there was no money owed on that financing and we verified that and we continue to tell them that, then they turned around and said will give you 100% back but Asked me NOT TO PURCHASE FROM THEM !!!!! Wow that Is ridiculous and I have the email. I had already purchased the bed that I have now and I am saddened that they were trying to get money out of me that wasnt owed, they dont honor their warranty. No one even came and looked at the mattress they had me send pictures. How would you know by pictures and to be blatantly rude and say dont purchase from us again and *** already purchased my bed at this point I wish I never did !! and Im sure if the owner Knew how disrespectful his **************** employees /Warranty were being towards people and to tell somebody not to purchase from American furniture ,he would be very disappointed . Its quite clear, American furniture dont honor their warranty or their customers. just so you know, I wasnt gonna put a star at all, but in order to submit this, they give you no choice.

Awf called and sent an email to submit photos. Since Ive been traveling for work I couldnt upload the pics before their link expired. The couch is internally falling apart and was built with low grade plywood, not by any stretch of the means a quality material. May 2025 would be 3 years, we are in Jan 2025. The damaged occurred just after 1 year and we called the company which proceeded to tell us there was no more warranty and that would cost x amount of money to have a tech to come out and inspect the unit to assess repairs (not to repair, but to look at it). Also, the company can call a warranty claim all they want, but they delivered a couch where the connectors didnt line up and the guys that dropped it off didnt have the proper tools. So someone had to **** me back. Just bad all around.

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but I feel obligated to share our experience in hopes of sparing others from getting duped by this company.
My brother and I decided to surprise our elderly mother with a new sofa for her apartment. She lives on a very limited, fixed income, and was overjoyed at the idea of getting something nice for her new home. At her request, we went to American Furniture Warehouse.
After spending several hours in the store, we finally found a sofa she loved. We triple-checked the dimensions to make sure it would fit, made the purchase, and paid a reasonable $89 delivery fee. My mom was absolutely ecstatic. She couldn’t wait for her new sofa to arrive.
Now, I was already a bit skeptical going in — I’ve heard that American Signature has a reputation for playing games with deliveries, especially when stairs are involved. My biggest concern was that the drivers would show up and try to weasel out of bringing the furniture upstairs, leaving my elderly mother to deal with the fallout.
And that’s exactly what happened.
The delivery truck showed up, and as soon as the drivers realized they’d have to take the sofa up to the third floor, they started making excuses. Without even taking the sofa off the truck — without even trying — they claimed it wouldn’t fit and drove away.
To make matters worse, when my mother called customer service to explain what happened and request a refund, they refused to return the $89 delivery fee. That’s when I realized this wasn’t just poor service — it’s a pattern. After doing some digging, I found that this is a known tactic by American Signature: deny deliveries under flimsy pretenses and keep the fees.
It’s shameful. My mother was left humiliated and without the one thing she was looking forward to in her new home. They may have thought she was just another elderly customer they could take advantage of, but they picked the wrong woman. And they’ve picked the wrong family.
Shame on American Signature Furniture for operating this blatant scam. We’ll be taking further steps to make sure they’re held accountable — and I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

First time we stopped to look at couches we were kinda brushed off and told they had nothing that matched what we had, we ended up finding it on our own online. Second time we came in we met Charles, he was helpful with a matching rug, entertainment stand and made sure we got 7 matching stools 🤗. Wasn’t super pushy and listened to what we were looking for to furnish our new home and helped set up delivery asap. Definitely recommend working with Charles if you stop by. Awesome guy. Also they have awesome Colorado decor! 👍🏼

Visted the Afw store in Firestone Yesterday and got top service as soon as we entered. We were greeted with a big smile from Dan at the door. My wife asked him about a scooter and he took care of her and addressed her needs.
We were looking for a recliner for me but we ended up getting a dresser for my wife. I just couldn't make up my mind. Austin was our sales person and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and had excellent customer service. Austin thanked us for our purchase with a big smile and I told him I'll be back for a recliner.
As we were leaving we passed Dan again at the door and and he also thanked us with a smile and wished us a great day and welcomed us to come back!
I entered with a smile, left with a smile, confident with my purchase and had a great experience. Wish every store or restaurant had the same great customer service or staff as Dan and Austin. I definitely will see them again for my recliner and all future furniture needs.

This showroom is absolutely ginormous, with tons of possibilities and laid out really well. We were able to find what we were looking for and even mocked it up with pillows to see how it would match. We measured beforehand but they had clever signs saying these items were large, even had measuring tapes to make sure things would fit.
Made the purchase and within a week they were able to deliver it. They texted me the night before with a delivery window. The delivery people called me about 20 minutes before arriving and they were fantastic. The couch was wrapped up and they were able to install it in less than 30 minutes. Definitely top notch and would recommend this to anybody looking to have furniture delivered, and or removed.

AA YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE IN THE PICTURE, AFTER BUYING FROM DRNVER MATTRESS, IT WAS A SECURE LOAD AND NOT DANGEROUS. IF YOU'RE GOING TO DETERMINE WHAT IS A DANGEROUS LOAD OR WHAT THE LAW STATES, THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE SOMEONE THAT UNDERSTANDS LOAD SECUREMENT AND THE LAW, NOT SOME WAREHOUSE FLUNKY THAT MOST LIKELY DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING MORE THAN HOW TO LIFT PROPERLY AND MAYBE SOME LIGHT PAPERWORK!!! AND I'M SURE IT DOESN'T MATTER TO THE OWNER, BUT NOT ONLY HAVE YOU LOST ME AS A CUSTOMER, YOU'VE LOAT MANY IN MY LARGE CIRCLE OF FRIENDS. THIS IS ALSO GOING ON EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA SITE THAT MY WIFE AND I BELING TO. AFW MAY NOT FEEL THE IMPACT, BUT IT WILL STILL BE MONEY LOST.
The only reason for getting 1 star was because the sales lady was very friendly and professional, otherwise it would be a 0 or negative rating. Yesterday May 20th 2025 I went in the store to buy some bed and bedroom furniture. I wound up spending almost $800 on the furniture I needed. Once I was told I could go to the bay to pick it up I pulled into place and opened up the back of the Jeep Wrangler four-door to put the Box for the nightstand and the bed frame inside. I then told them I wanted the mattress on top of the Jeep first followed by the box spring on top so that when I strapped it down it would not lift on me as I went down the road. They told me they would not load anything on the top because I did not have roof racks and tried to tell me that it was against the law. I explained to the nitwit that I drive truck for a living from one end of this country to the other hauling stuff on a flatbed and know the laws about hauling items and securing them. There was nothing unsafe about the way I was going to strap everything down and I had paid for the items so what it matter to them I still do not understand. Long story short I was refunded my money was told not to return to their store and wound up going to Denver Mattress where I purchased all my items and they not only had no problem with where I was putting everything they even helped me secure everything. I will never shop at any American Furniture Warehouse ever again and advise whoever's reading this to do the same. Horrible service at this location.
They gave us the completely wrong table and chairs. Waited until we were back in fort collins and called to ask us to drive back to firestone. Only offered $40 for the inconvenience and still couldnt figure out the order.
I will never buy from this location.
Aj from fort collins did a fantastic job.
To add we are in a tornado warning.

I wanted to love our experience with American Furniture Warehouse but I couldn’t. We came in more than 3 weeks ago (4/21/2025) to get 3 pieces sofa for our new place. We were helped by a couple staff who worked there. Although they were helpful, we had to walk around to look for them (which is fine in my opinion). I believed Jonathan Reyes was the staff that help checked us out.
We have promised and received 1 piece out of 3 in our order in Saturday 4/26/2025. We have been told that the rest will come in 2 weeks from the day we had ordered 4/21/2025. Today is 5/15/2025 and we hadn’t received our sofa yet. While we constantly check in our order status, all the answers we got was it had been delayed for another 2 weeks. I can’t believe a big company as they are with good reputation has operated with way. We can’t host our family parties since we can’t accommodate our guests without having appropriate furniture.
I have lost my trust for them and I will bring my future business somewhere that treat their customers better!

We come to this location all the time and have gotten help from many employees but many times they are rude and trying to get us out it seems like. But thankfully we found the BEST employees to help us out! Jessica VanHoesen and Austin Rodriguez! They are outstanding, professional, friendly, and personable. They both told us everything we needed to know about the furniture we were buying and answered all our questions KINDLY! For now on we will be asking for their assistance:)
