Felt there was value in the price of the furniture but the delivery experience was horrible. Sales guy said it would be here soon and let’s just say I had to call multiple times to get on the delivery schedule. A year ago, I purchased a TV stand from your store. The first one arrived damaged, and I had to go through the hassle of requesting a replacement. Now, less than a year later, I am experiencing discoloration issues. Upon contacting your team, I was informed that AFW is aware of this flaw and attempts to minimize it but cannot prevent it. Apparently, this issue is common across the entire line of TV stands. This response is unacceptable. It seems clear that your company is aware of this problem due to numerous customer complaints, yet you continue selling the product without warning buyers of these manufacturing defects. If you are aware of this manufacturing defect, why are you not informing customers before they make the purchase? Your solution of advising me to donate or sell the item to a third party is not only insulting but irresponsible. Why should I be expected to pay $700 for a defective piece of furniture that you knowingly sell with manufacturing issues? This is a serious quality control failure on your part, and I have attached photos I expect this issue to be resolved promptly

Huge warehouse! I’m so thankful that Jake Jabs had the vision of quality furniture for ‘Everyman’. We downsized from a house to a condo and had given away most of our old furniture. We have furnished our new place with great pieces at a fraction of the cost of all expensive furniture stores in the area. At a time when we COULD have spent lots of money on furniture, we came to our senses and did it affordably! We even got to meet Mr. Jabs one evening when we were there. Highly recommend . Absolutely no pressure, easy and inexpensive delivery and friendly employees. We’ll be back….again.

This review has two parts. Part 1 - Is it Disappointment ?? I order two furnitures (Oct 3) from AFW. Telling me at the time of delivery that one of my furniture is not getting delivered is a pathetic customer service. When you have an order to be delivered which is like almost 4 or 5 days ahead, it’s basic house check to ensure the product is in good condition and we can pick that up and deliver to the customer on the promised schedule. Checking the product for its condition on the day of delivery (Oct 8) and delivering the message at the time of delivery is absolutely rubbish and ridiculous to me. On top of this, I hear that this is going to take another 5 days (Oct 13) to get delivered is a pain to have dealt with the business with AFW. I honestly expected a superior customer service, not this. I feel the charges paid for Delivery $79 is a total waste as it doesn’t do its job. Painful, not what I expected. It’s a disappoint at home where I expect lot of guest in 2 days for a ceremony and a bare living room. Part 2 - No Appointment Forget It The delivery person on Oct 8th told that he is going to call customer care after he is done with setting up one of the furniture. He did call or he showcased that he is calling and talking to someone and said the earliest he could deliver is Oct 14, whether I like it or not, I said Ok. Every day goes by, Guess What, It’s Sunday and waited patiently until evening, no signs of any truck attempting to deliver, I drive down to the esteemed AFW outlet, I happen to luckily find the Salesperson who assisted me on Oct 3 and I ask him to check on my order. He check in the system and says that my order is not scheduled for delivery at all. 👌😀. The salesperson says he doesn’t know and nobody informed him either about this. He then gets into the system and says the earliest he could schedule is by Oct 18th, Friday. I get a message from the salesperson next day after he talks to his Manager, that they couldn’t do anything about product damage and he couldn’t give me anything off for this mistake. But he never addressed to the problem of not scheduling to deliver to the customer, and if they even have a process to ensure such kind of mistakes will not happen in the future. I call upon and talk to a Sales Manager, she says, she also couldn’t do anything and mentioned sorry for the mistake. And claimed that she waived off the delivery fees for the 2nd reattempting delivery on Oct 18th. Oh man, they were planning to charge me a $79 again for their mistake on delivery which she is proud to have waived for me. 🥳🙂. There is nothing they could do for this unhappy customer ever. 🤨. Hope there won’t be a Part 3. 😀

I always buy living room furniture here. I used to buy everything here but with the internet and delivery that isn't needed anymore. We got a new leather couch that is zero gravity. It took us several trips to find what we wanted, the stock is always changing so you'll find what you like!

I was little disappointed with the delivery service I had. I have ordered the box frame and the mattress and told them to deliver to our home. I am ording with AFW for bearly 10 years and this is the first time I am unsatisfied with the service. They delivered it but they couldn't install it properly.

Last night, 9/12/2024, I ordered a recliner from AFW online to be picked up from the Englewood, CO store. I had to do this as I had back surgery 9/11/2024 and my recliner broke on the 12th. My husband goes to pick up the recliner today, 9/13/2024, with the receipt and my credit card (he has done this multiple times in the past with no issues). The lady at the pick up counter tells him he has to go inside the store to the customer service and show them the card since it was a virtual Apple Card. The store manager, Rachel, very rudely told my husband I had to pick it up. He explained I had back surgery 2 days ago and we have done this multiple times. She said it did not matter that I to come down with my ID. I was on the phone with my husband and asked if we could FaceTime and she could see me and my ID. She said “nope”. My husband reiterated I didn’t need to come down there as I had surgery. She said we could refund it and he could buy it in his name. He explained that I am disabled and my special needs trust was paying for it so it had to be in my name. He finally got a customer service number from her and attempted to get the corporate number. She refused to give him the number for the corporate offices and would not give him a business card or a last name. I called customer service as I saw on google that they could change the pick up person’s name. The rep, Jeremy, said he could not change the pick up person. He said we could have it delivered and I explained that the Tuesday delivery time would not work as I need the chair now because I had surgery. I explained the whole situation to him and he tells me Jake Jabs is the only person that could change it. By this time I was crying and so upset that I told him they (the company) was f’ng horrible and there was a special place in hell for them to not help a disabled person get the chair that was desperately needed! I have never in my 56 years had such deplorable customer service! My daughter had to pick me up and take me there. Me, my cane and my bandages had to go in to the pickup counter, show my ID and let them check the virtual number on my Apple Card. The corporate offices were next door so my husband, daughter, grandson and I went in there. The operator was extremely nice and called someone higher up than Rachel in the store. The man was very nice but gave us the normal corporate brush off about policies, how things could have been handled in a better manner and how he would have a discussion with Rachel. We told him we understand policies but do not understand complete rudeness or helping a disabled person figure out a solution. We also were not offered the option to make an official complaint. I was a business owner for 13 years until I had a car accident that put me here. My daughter works in a corporate setting and deals with customers quite a bit. Neither of us could believe these people could not bend an inch to solve this issue without risking my health!!! My advice is do not shop at American Furniture Warehouse and if you have to, do not go to the Englewood location!

This is an awesome place to shop for furniture. There’s a ton of selection and the store is clean and beautifully arranged. I highly recommend working with John, he was so friendly and patient with my indecisiveness. He was also very knowledgeable about the build and quality of the pieces I was looking at, which helped me make a great decision. We recently moved from Colorado to New Mexico before we left Colorado. I went into my local AFW and walked around scouting out furniture for our new house. When I came upon this couch, I knew that it would be perfect for our space so you can imagine when I saw it was out of stock, my Immediate sadness. I called to the store when we had moved and the customer service representative was so helpful allowing me to order them in addition to an area rug that ended up going out of stock, but I was able to get one of the last because of her excellent assistance . They delivered 1/4 of the couch And the tv stand and carpet we live like that for a couple of months until the back order came in and we finally have a complete couch. We are so in love with. We can’t say enough nice things about the pieces we selected and received. We get so many compliments.

Disappointed, I couldn't believe they wouldn't wait 15 minutes to deliver my furniture. I was waiting for my apartment key, and they arrived earlier than the delivery window of 9:45 AM to 10:35 AM. I politely asked them to wait just 15 minutes until 10:00am, even offering to skip assembly to save them time. Despite this, they refused. They called their office, and someone instructed them to wait, but instead of being accommodating, they started citing company regulations and postponed my delivery by three days. As a client, I believe a great company should be more understanding of such circumstances—it was only 15 minutes.

Our home furnishings consultant, Rose, was extremely professional, courteous and MOST PATIENT when we were shopping for a new living room furniture set. They have a lot of employees there to help and assist you throughout the buying process. Our assistant was really dry with us up until I actually tapped my card to pay. You could feel the shift in energy; all of a sudden he becomes a smiling chatterbox and doesn't stop making jokes when previously he didn't laugh at any of our other jokes (even if they were dad jokes). I just don't understand why we have to pay over 1k for a good attitude these days.

We’ve been purchasing our furniture at this location for the past five years. They typically have all of what we need and if you’re careful with your selection, you can get some quality items. Sales people are helpful and not pushy. Well house, workers and loaders try to help to make that part easy.

DO NOT BUY A MATTRESS FROM AMERICAN FURNITURE WAREHOUSE. They will NOT honor the warranty! I am 65. I weigh 130 lbs. I bought a mattress from them with a 10 year warranty. After 2 years, I am sleeping in a sagging whole. Yes, I rotated it. Now all 4 corners are bad. I am now sleeping on my couch because I cannot afford another one. They sent out an employee to measure the sagging. It had to be more than 1.5” deep to honor the warranty. He measured it, AFTER pressing on the edge of the mattress to “smooth out” the sagging, I was told the measurement was 1 1/4” deep and the claim was denied. After actually laying on it, the measurement of the sagging is 2.5” deep. And I’m 65, years old, and sleeping on the couch.

Bought my sectional a year ago, American Furniture was always my favorite furniture store before my last purchase. My sectional was very expensive and it's one of the fabric ones with huge seats. When we came in to purchase it's always the best service, you really can tell commission is great. When I purchased it, I asked about the cushions because they felt too soft to me, rep told me that it is so because they have 5000 people sit on it per month. I took his word and purchased, he told me there is a one year warranty on it, if it gets softer but the sectional is in good shape that I can return. I really love the sofa but it was becoming more and more uncomfortable to the point that I felt I'm laying in a hole. So I called before one year and of course a technician came to check it out and he said it's because you used it. I'm not sure but maybe I was supposed to look at it for one year only in my home. Anyways customer service called me and we discussed the issue, she told me that I can buy from them new cushions and just replace the fabric from one to another. I asked her, can I have firm cushions that will not get soft in a month, she rudely said NO, you will get the same one, was not understanding of my frustration at all. Paying over $3000 for a sectional that didn't last one year is very bad quality. So what I did is; I bought firm high density cushions from Amazon, did what she told me, replaced the fabric from one to another, and I have a great sectional now. It looks like new and it is way better then when I bought it first day. I will never buy furniture from American Furniture due to this issue. I spoke with more than one person and I went in person, no blame on me at all. And I did not fight with them because I naturally don't but I definetly learn from my mistakes. Thank you.

Went into AFW looking for an area rug for my living room, it's 4th of July week, found one and salesperson tells me it's discontinued and can no longer get it. I repeat the process with 4 MORE RUGS only to be told the same thing for each. If those area rugs are no longer available then why do you have them hanging on display in your showroom, take them down! Big waste of 2 hours of my time!

I'm very pleased with AFW. We needed a new Sofa, Loveseat, chair and ottoman to replace an older leather AFW set that lasted us over 25 years. Shopping at their big Englewood Warehouse was no pressure and we found a really nice Knox Italian Leather Set that hopefully will last us another 25 years. After a few weeks I was noticing the chair wasn't as comfortable as I had hoped and was wishing I would have just gotten a Lazy Boy Style Recliner instead. No problem, I called AFW's customer support and since I was within 30 days I could do a return on the chair and they told me to simply come back to the warehouse and see if I liked any of their many recliner chairs. If so, they could do a delivery/ return pickup at the same time to save on a double fee. I first visited a Lazy Boy Store to check out their chairs...they were nice and had a lot of options but the prices were insanely high! No way I was gonna pay thousands for a recliner chair! I went back to the AFW in Englewood and ended up finding an Italian leather swivel, glider, recliner that I fell in love with. My new chair was delivered and the other one was picked up and I'll even get a little money put back on my credit card from the difference! I always tell everyone that AFW is the place to go for a wide variety of furniture...all at very reasonable prices. And if you need to use their customer support, I'm proof they'll take care of you so you're happy with your purchase.

AFW is a reasonably priced furniture store selling decent quality products. If you're looking for premium quality and interesting styles, this isn't your place. If you're looking for middle of the road styles, then they have lots of options. There certainly is no lack of choices! And I definitely appreciate their sales process! Almost all the other furniture places have commissioned salespeople who jump on you as soon as you walk in the door, and start talking (selling) immediately. (To be accurate, I did find out their salespeople are also commissioned.) The AFW salespeople will ask you politely if you need help and leave you alone if you don't. When were there recently for about 45 minutes I bet no less than 10 people asked if we needed help. It's a nice change.

We went in a little over a month ago for two patio chairs and they had 3 up in display throughout the store. The lady said it would be a week and a half and we waited and waited . And then I called myself on three separate occasions and they didn’t answer for ten minutes and then they answered and put me on hold immediately and was on hold for 23 minutes before I hung up. But either they never answer or you just stay on the line 15 plus minutes. Then my boyfriend called on three occasions himself and they said “oh well have so and so give you a call right back” and they never did. Ever. And then a week ago they said idk why they ordered it from Arizona when there was some in Colorado already and they’d try to fix it and change it instead and of course nothing. Still no chairs and it’s been over a month now.

Ive shopped here for decades. Aleays veen happy... but i guess it has gone down hill. The sales person sold us something that doesn't exist.. even though the website says it exists and the support call center says it exists. we bought it as part of a bunk bed for our kid, and now I have to make the part myself. the manager would not do anything for the time lost or the fact that their website and sales team do not match what they they actually have. bad service support, bad sales training, bad website, and horrible service about the whole issue.

Thank AFW!! Initially I couldn't get my order to go through online. I called and a gentleman made sure to correct the issue. 3 days later and we have a couch to sit on! The delivery drivers were beyond amazing as well. 🥰
