More than great customer service, I love my chair! The delivery men were so nice, placed it where I wanted let me inspect, both had a very nice welcoming smile. The sales woman, selling me the chair watched me closely enough to make suggestions, one of which I bought. Great price! Thank you for making my retirement even better.

I've been a long standing customer of AMF for years I've always appreciated there huge selections of everything needed for ones home , in addition to there amazing delivery staff, the only thing I wish they would include in there services is for a customer, to be able to ask for a delivery time not just be given one.

Third purchases from this store/location. Each delivery was followed with a secondary delivery: 2nd & 3rd due to damages goods.1st delivery: were informed of a partial delivery due to not in inventory. 2nd & 3rd deliveries were to CA. No sales tax on both deliveries but discrepancy of more than double the fee on 2nd delivery compared to the 1st.

The help I received at the store was excellent. The person helping me did a great job asking what I needed/wanted and helped me find what furniture would work best for me. The at home delivery was great as well. Not only did they arrive on time, but they set everything up quickly and efficiently. The only issue I had was that they brought the wrong size bed-frame slabs. This was an issue since I was having the mattress delivered the next day. Thankfully they were able to get the right size slabs out that same day, but it also meant that I had to stay around the house all day and couldn't get other things done (a little annoying in the middle of a move). They warn you when you sign up for delivery that if you aren't there, aren't ready, or mis-measured and they have to take the furniture back there is a 15% restocking fee. I'm just saying I should get something back if they waste my time as well. Regardless, the furniture is excellent, the help at the store was great, and the delivery was ultimately good so I would recommend them.

American Furniture in Aurora on Abeline, is one of the best. Not too much to look at like the warehouse in Parker but just enough of a selection to furnish your whole house. We bought everything there. The staff is helpful and friendly, the checkout process is a tad painful but that is to be expected when making major purchases. They deliver or you can arrange to pick up in the Parker Warehouse. PROS: Location, Selection CONS: Nothing

After years of purchasing various products that have worn fairly well considering they're discount furniture fare (though yes, I did have a problem with a couch that broke after six hours of owning it, they did send another one though I had to wait another couple of days), today changed everything after abysmal customer service. I'll never set foot in their establishments again. After I purchased a round table that both the sales rep and myself thought could be put in my car, when I tried to pick up the item I was told I could not take it because it would not fit inside the car and though they have no proof of this, they don't allow people to tie things to the roof of their car. (The table was in a box that fit perfectly on my roof with no overhang, my doors are just horribly slanted.) When I asked why, they said liabilitiy issues. I said I'll sign a waiver -whatever and then it was no we don't do that and I don't have to give you the merchandise you already paid for! Oh really? What they did want to do was charge me more money to rent one of their trucks. Huh, you think? Well needless to say after being told that the merchandise I had already paid for wasn't even mine, I said so sad so sorry, you just lost a sale and got my refund. To make matters worse, their receipt explicitly says they are NOT liable for any damages to vehicle or even home when you unpack it if the loading was at the customer request. Seems to me if I request my merchandise and tell you I'll secure it myself don't worry about it, that's the customer's request! What I found out when I called the customer service number and spoke to a supervisor was that this isn't a hard policy it's basically however the loading department feel at the moment and if I had bought something large in the store from their ready to assemble section which seeing as I have in the past, those boxes can get pretty wieldy, carried it out and did the same thing, they really couldn't have done anything. Huh, fascinating. Apparently they don't know anything of consumer rights. The whole fiasco save my phone call was fraught with rude and condescending jerks. THAT is why I'll never do business with them again. You can make up your own rules, but when you have nothing to back it up and just say I don't have to give you your merchandise, but you could spend some more money and rent our truck? Off you go. It's the same reason I don't shop at Wal-Mart. Cheap products equal crap customer service and seeing as if we don't stand for this and other poor service things and subsequently don't buy your product you lose your job? I have no problem taking my business elsewhere. Incidentally, I went to Home Depot, bought a similar table (actually looks nicer because it was a more pleasing design for me, though it's made out of the same wrought iron material) for only twenty bucks more and they didn't care if I tied it to the roof of my car, which I did and amazing, I had no issues getting home, unloading and setting it up. Not a scratch on it. Well, look at that. AFW could have let me sign a waiver they supposedly have according to their receipts and all of the hassle and lost future revenue could have been avoided. Seriously, don't waste your time, just go to IKEA or save up and get REAL quality furniture elsewhere. Lower price just equals more headache.

I run my own company Nook N Cranny a house cleaning company with great employees out of a recliner and my desk is next to me. I was concerned because I could no longer afford a recliner because I lowered my prices to help customers having a hard time in this economy. Yet, AFW had a sale that made it totally affordable for me to the recliner I needed to keep me happy to make sure my customers and my employees are happy! In a way, they saved a bit of my business. It is not CHEAP furntiure either, this is a Ashley recliner and I go it for $260 + tax....I check EVERYWHERE and I could not find anywhere that had a price this good. Not to mention I am sop comfortable! Thank you AFW!!! Everyone go get a deal...we saw a NICE kitchen table for $191 you CAN't beat that!

On behalf of American Furniture Warehouse and in regards to Nigui.S's post: American Furniture Warehouse will not “knowingly” allow a customer to stack up their vehicle with an unsafe load…we feel we have a responsibility not only to the customer but to the community as well. This is not to say that all merchandise tied to the top of a vehicle will be deemed unsafe (safe might be smaller merchandise light in weight tied down securely to a roof mounted rack for example) nor does this mean that all unsafe loads don’t or won’t make it home safely. It simply means that we will not knowingly endanger traffic safety nor do we want a valued customer coming to us later saying the merchandise strapped to their “automobile” caused damage (what does a damage waiver mean to the customer? How about if the damage is caused the tie down straps? Were the tie down straps too tight? Were they too loose? Were they not strong enough to hold all the weight by themselves when turning the corner and the merchandise wanted to slide?) If you come to American Furniture Warehouse in a vehicle not suited for your furniture pick up we will suggest other options. Options as in coming back with the correct and safe vehicle for the job, maybe possibly renting one of our trucks (a great value and much better than damaging your car or hurting someone or worse) or we may suggest that the customer has the merchandise delivered by a delivery team and a truck. It is all about safety…we hope you can understand that…we’ve all seen or heard of accidents involving furniture transporting misshapes...lets do our part to try and prevent them.
