I found exactly what I was looking for and I was never harassed by sales staff. They would politely ask if I needed help, but no pressure. This allowed me to take my time and do comparison shopping before making a decision on a new recliner and lamp. The pickup process was efficient and everything went smoothly. Great prices on my purchase. I will definitely shop here again.

Your response is RIDICULOUS. These are TWO DIFFERENT PRODUCTS. This isn’t a SLIGHT VARIATION. The SKU was completely different.
I find it VERY concerning that the person who chose to provide this insane response to my review CANNOT TELL THAT THESE ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Do you need your vision checked??? Maybe you shouldn’t be selling furniture. I think we found the problem.

We have had the worst experience trying to purchase some dressers. We purchased two at the same time, identical, but one was in a different warehouse. It took an extra month.
1. They called me after a couple weeks and scheduled delivery. I rearranged my whole day only to find out it was some “mistake” and someone read something wrong.
2. A couple weeks later, second dresser arrived smashed. They wanted a technician to repair it. I told them to take it back, that I paid for a brand new dresser.
3. Dresser arrived over two months after the first order. They actually had it in last week and failed to call me. I called them and found out it was there. They scheduled delivery this morning.
THEY SENT THE WRONG DRESSER! I couldn’t even believe it. Now I’m worried that I won’t be able to get the second piece and that my bedroom furniture won’t match after all this money.
I received a call shortly after from customer service rescheduling delivery for Sunday. I tried to confirm all the details with her, so hopefully it works out this time.
Update: I was forced to drive 45 minutes to this store just for the privilege of speaking with a manager. When I arrived I was absolutely livid. The managers were rude, dismissive, and incompetent.
Both of THEIR delivery drivers SAID that this was NOT THE SAME SKU NUMBER. They both checked the dressers and confirmed this. When I got to the store the managers at the store said QUOTED VERBATIM “I don’t know anything about SKU numbers.”
Now, mind you, customer service said the manager were “too busy to talk to you right now. They will call you back AT THEIR CONVENIENCE.”
The MANAGER HIMSELF said “it’s a Friday morning. We aren’t busy.” And they definitely were not busy, because I had not one but two managers following me around trying to sort this out.
I added additional photos of the top and front of the original dresser delivered. I checked the floor model and it was very similar to this dresser. It ABSOLUTELY DID NOT HAVE ALL THESE WHITE MARKS SCRATCHED INTO IT EVERYWHERE.
Then the manager tries to double down and said (again a direct quote) that the lines I’m seeing are just “natural wood variations.” THE HELL THEY ARE!! These are CLEARLY in PATTERNED MARKINGS. I even asked customers in the store and they all agreed they were NOT THE SAME AT ALL AND THAT ONE IS CLEARLY MARKED.
This manager also basically scolded me like a child for not just going through their customer service. I said “I’ve been dealing with customer service for three months and I’m WORSE OFF.”
Just remember folks, if this happens to you or anything similar, you’ll be treated the same way. Heed the negative reviews because they artificially stack good reviews. It’s not an accurate assessment of this awful business.

Purchased a sofa and love seat for my mother in April of 2024 and the foam inside the seat is already deformed, placed a warranty claim and I was told the following: "After review, the photos do not align with what we would consider as manufacture defects on our furniture. This looks to be caused by normal wear and tear/cushion settling, flat stuffing within the cushions is due to use within the home and not a flaw in the manufacturing of the product." Foam they are using should be durable and long lasting and should not deform within a few months. Caution to all people who are looking for home furniture.

It is absolutely perfect. Today (12/15/2024) they had someone dressed up as Santa and someone as the grinch, the grinch was so funny and Santa was too. The staff were nice. Oh, did I also say my aunt works there? I visit her alot when she's at work and it's so cool, everyone is happy and it's a good experience, I love it

Great store but their loading people suck they slammed my furniture around like a potato sack. Very sad. The manager Debbie turn her back on me and discriminated against me for telling her that her team was throwing my stuff around. Then I contacted the manager Marcelo and he took their side instead of helping. Once I arrived to my home
I opened the furniture and bingo is all dirty and cracked. Please don’t spend your money here.

Very disappointed. I purchased a dresser online for pickup. I used my digital debit card for the purchase. When I went to pickup my order I was denied the product because I didn’t physically have the card on person. I was able to provide physical ID and showed my banking app with the full debit card number/expiration date available and was told I am unable to pickup my purchase without having the physical card. My option was to refund the product and use another card or just a refund in general. This was extremely disappointing being my first time using AFW. I will not be going here again.

I bought a Sleeper sofa from American Furniture Warehouse in Sun City. Before purchasing it, I verified with the salesman, which mattress it would come with. When it arrived it had a totally different mattress with it, that I do not like at all. I called and spoke with customer service, who told me I needed to talk to my salesman. My salesman, Carey, never called me as I was told. I called back multiple times and kept getting the run around. I never did hear from the salesman. Now I am told I can pay extra to have the mattress I was told it came with. Very disappointed that these people don't stand by their word. Don't trust them, they lie.

I have lost all faith in American Furniture Warehouse. I had come in to buy a couch on 12/01/24.
They had explained to me everything which was expected ( text the day before delivery with estimated 2 delivery hrs window). I was led to believe the delivery would be 12/05/24. I was not texted on 12/04/24 so I called to confirm the delivery window. They assured me it was going to be delivered that date between 1:00pm-3:30pm. At this point my living room is completely emptied, so the delivery folks didn't have to struggle, I rearranged my entire day for this delivery. At 3:00pm I decide to call customer service and they told me that it's actually store pickup. I was so upset because I had called the day prior to confirm. She rudely dismisses me saying that the person I talked to was looking at the wrong order or something. I was now transferred to another person to set me up with delivery. This person told me I now have to pay the delivery fee and that there's nothing they can do for me. I was upset so I was going to give up and just set up the delivery for 12/07/24 as they had told me this was the soonest time. They again had trouble charging me this delivery fee due to tech issues on their backend. now I'm more upset.I ask again if they could wave the fee or anything complementary to make me feel better. This was not my fault and I had done my duediligence to confirm things were set up properly. After the 5th time asking, they waived half the fee by giving me store credit and applying it to the order. So now they are liars saying they could not do anything to help me. Now again they transfer me to another person to manually give my credit card information. After taking my delivery fee, they tell me the soonest they can schedule the delivery is 12/08/24. Are you kidding me ????? Another liar. I finally give in and agree to the day. They gave the the same instructions as they told me when I bought the damn couch and I simply ask "ARE YOU SURE?" I have no faith that this couch will arrive. This makes me extremely sad because I have been a loyal customer since the day the opened.

AFW Sales Associate Daniel Rogers professionalism helped me find a good alternative to my original purchase plan he took the time to hear my needs and was able to relate them to a matched available product. First and last time I buy from here ! My experiece was just painful the way they do their process and the way some of the employees behave no all buy some especially the guys that load your furniture.. I wanted to buy American wanted to come here and do my shopping but not a good experience one of the items I purchased was terribly damaged when I went back to get a replacement the replacement was worse than the original.. awful!

Buyer beware! Spend your hard earned money elsewhere! Bought a large couch with chaise a couple of years ago. The chaise section began sinking and not bouncing back after sitting on. I provided photos to AFW. I paid $100 for replacement cushion and installation. Installer told me that it may fail again and I would probably need to get a high density foam cushion. Sure enough, shortly thereafter it was worse than before replacement. I had to hire an independent upholsterer and paid an additional $220 for proper high density foam. The couch should have been manufactured with proper foam initially. I again contacted AFW requesting a refund of $100 for the useless replacement. Because I didn’t send additional pictures before replacing with high density foam, AFW said I was out of luck. I paid $1400 for the new couch and now I’m out an additional $320 total to make things right. Very poor quality and customer service.

First time shopper! I was blown away by my experience! I went to look at one couch and there were like 10 other ones to choose that were similar. So many choices! My experience shopping was so positive. No one “bothered” us while we looked around and when we were ready to purchase, Robert was so fun to work with. He was actually fun! Wow what a great shopping experience.. Furniture is alright. The pre put together furniture you get ends up falling apart within a month. What I’m mainly here for is the financing aspect which is quite horrible. With American first finance you think it’s great pay it bit weekly for what the price is. Yet here I am 7-8 months later continuing to pay. As I do the math I’ve already payed $600+ more than that I signed to. I also still have a remaining balance. I’m paying an extra $1200 on top of what I financed at AFW. ABSOLUTE BS

Overall, the sales and purchase experience was positive. Emma provided exceptional service, offering assistance when needed while allowing us space to browse independently. She checked in periodically to see if we required any further help, demonstrating a great attitude, strong product knowledge, and a professional, can-do demeanor. We truly appreciated her service.
However, the experience with the other customer service team members was less than satisfactory. After losing a notebook in the store, I approached three staff members, but they displayed little interest in helping locate it. The notebook had been placed in the lost and found area, yet none of the staff took the initiative to check thoroughly. Eventually, I found an associate who confirmed it had been turned in. When I returned to the service desk, the staff member was reluctant to assist further, insisting on contacting the associate first. After a delay, she eventually retrieved the notebook, but her attitude and lack of customer care were disappointing.

AGAIN, THE COMPANY HAS FAILED TO DELIVER. MY COUCH HAS BEEN REPARED 3 X IN Less THAN A YEAR. WHEN DELIVERED BACK THEY DIDNT BRING THE CORD FOR RECLINING. CALLEd 2 days ago. No contact, so called today. No sx mgr has called back as promised. Asked for a customer sx mgr and was transferred back to original queue. No one is accountable, no timelibes are given for when someone is suppose to call. So after purchase of a $2K couch, that has had to repaired 3 times, nooone wants to talk to me about this missing cord, and the rep just transferred me into a queue instead of to a mgr. So I have to be at their mercy. REALLY POOR SERVICE, SO THINK TWICE.

Updating review again... Received the furniture today! Luv them! First they said delivery would be Tuesday, then they said 2 weeks later, but it ended up being today Saturday. So I am relatively happy about that. I don't know why they couldn't give me more accurate delivery date from the beginning. And if they truly don't know for sure they should say that, and then give me what the latest date would be, but never give some early delivery date that is highly unlikely and will just disappoint the customer when it isn't delivered then. This is the reason for 4 star and not 5.
Updating review... Last week I spent a lot of money and the floor person said I will get my items Monday or Tuesday at the latest of this week! That info was not true at all! Come to find out my items aren't anywhere in the country and are being shipped from China and are not here yet, and it will be at least 2 weeks! Wow, it would have been nice if they were truthful from the beginning! On the phone the customer service lady was not very nice, she acted like it was my fault and she was annoyed that I was even asking where my items were! Very unhappy!
I had never been to a AFW store before. It was very nice inside, and the floor people were very helpful and friendly. I ended up buying a reclining sofa and coffee table that I thought were great! The exact same items are on Amazon for more money, so I would say I got a great deal at AFW!

I really love this place!! They have tons of selections no matter what kind of furniture or decor you are looking for. They advertise having friendly, no pressure sales reps, and they really do mean that!! At no time did I feel pressured or intimidated to make a purchase and i was in there for over an hour or 2. The sales reps that I did speak to were very friendly and informative. The prices are extremely reasonable as well, which is rare in modern times.

I have bought things from AFW and always had a good experience until this time, I purchased 4 sets of bed frames, and one of them came dirty and looked used had a rip on it the screws came in a zip lock bag and had screws missing I spoke with customer service who sent me out a new one after the picture when I received the new one it was still missing screws that I needed to assemble I spoke with Melissa who was great and offered me 50 dollar credit and got thebouece for me she said I had to go to the warehouse to pick it up and when I get home to ser up the bed the one of the pieces to headboard won't tighten due to the threaded hole been stripped is frustrated that my 9 year old daughter won't have a bed to sleep again cuz they can't get it right the 1st definitely the worst experience I've ever had

Robyn M. from the Glendale location definitely exceeded my expectations. She demonstrated excellent customer service and went above and beyond to make the impossible possible in a very proficient and timely manner. After several phone calls and weeks looking for a discontinued item at AFW, Robyn was the only employee who was able to locate the furniture piece immediately and coordinate shipment and delivery from out of state all within half an hour. Every time I try to purchase something from here I have issues with pick up and it takes hours to just purchase furniture. We are not financing a car or mortgaging a house. We are buying a piece of furniture, no finance. It shouldn't be that difficult to buy furniture. We always have issues picking up items as well. We don't get text messages or they don't put us in the queue correctly. I'm not shopping here anymore.
