Philip W Maier Biography

Philip was born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota where he studied Art at Bismarck State College and Moorhead State University. Shortly after college he joined the Army, where he spent the next 5 years. After serving his country, Philip became a programmer, developing new business software for a large corporation. After 17 plus years he left the programming world to pursue a dream of owning a business and getting back to art. Today, Philip owns a small custom sign and graphic company, called two moon innovations.

Philip mostly paints using acrylics; from landscapes to surrealistic, to abstract art. He paints on canvas and on wood. Philip uses his observations and his life experiences to depict simple life in his art pieces. He uses basic shapes and colors along with the features of graphic software to create his digital art designs to what he likes to call 'simple' art with a twist.

Philip currently lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He says, If you are going to live in the US, there is no better place than being in Colorado, for its beauty is paradise above the clouds". Lets Ride, for tomorrow is another adventure.
