Collection Details
David Hamann

Husband, father and Marine Corps Veteran Dave Hamann has been photographing various subjects for over forty years. Gifted a Pentax ME SE Super by his grandfather when he was ten years old Dave was immediately drawn to black and white photography. As a commercial photographer for over twenty years, Dave's studio work keeps his lighting skills sharp, but it is the draw of the landscape that excites his creative side. When time permits and the storm clouds roll in over the plains of Eastern Colorado, Dave is sure to be seen parked along the side of a back country road, his camera pointed skyward. Dave is proud to have been selected as one of AFW's Artists of the West and you can count on more black-and-white work from him in the future.
